Air Diving Supervisor

Saudi Arabia

This work entails rotations of up to 4 weeks, with up to 4 weeks off before the following rotation which entails inspection, repair and maintenance work. The candidate that performs well on their initial rotation will be offered a long-term contract of up to 2 years with a well established client that operates all across the country. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for completing underwater operations in line with IMCA requirements and training.  Responsible for ensuring the safety of the diving team and any other individual who may engage in diving operations.  Responsible for ensuring that all diving operations are carried out from a suitable and safe location and that the diving team consists of an appropriate number of suitably qualified individuals.  To consult with the master of the vessel or the installation manager about the conduct of all diving operations and to maintain a diving operations log book which will be signed accordingly.  Responsible for being present and in a position to report any accidents or unscheduled events when carrying out diving operations.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Must hold an IMCA approved Air Supervisor Certificate.  At least three years experience as an offshore air diver.  Previous supervisory/management experience, preferably with a well-endorsed background.  Must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical. 

3.2u Air Diver

Qatar

Our client based in Qatar is looking for a 3.2u Air Diver to join an offshore project for the duration of a long term contract. The scope of work includes structure inspection, 4 to 6 week rotations and a competitive day rate to match the applicants' needs. 

 

KEY DUTES  Responsible for the safe, efficient and timely execution of all offshore diving operations.  Responsible for advising and directing a team of divers with the purpose of carrying out all operations while keeping project timescales and costs in mind.  To complete and offer Dive Report Sheets, Dive Logs and Log Book recordings to the appointed supervisor, ensuring all information is handed in on time and to the appropriate standard.  To assist with ROV launch and related operations as and when necessary, offering any knowledge and abilities to carry this out to the best standard.  To carry out all operations with safety as a priority and to train any new staff and assist with mentoring and development when applicable.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Must hold a 3.2u CSWIP Certificate.  Previous experience as an offshore diver.  Must be eligible to work in Qatar.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical. 

Toolpusher

Persian Gulf

Our client based in Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Toolpusher to work offshore in the Persian Gulf on board a Cyber Base Jack Up rig. This position offers a long term contract, a negotiable salary based on experience and excellent career opportunities. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the drilling rig, and ensuring full compliance with all mandatory company, client, state, and federal rules and regulations.  Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements; assist in supervising well killing operations in an emergency situation. Attend pre-spud meetings and take note of all well-related hazards and ensure that they are managed appropriately.  Initiate changes to the pre-agreed program when and as required, to protect personnel, environment, equipment and the well.  Lead the well control team at the drilling rig in conjunction with the drilling contractor's senior personnel, including the acting Drilling Supervisor.  Responsible for the completion of all preventative maintenance activities and projects that must be completed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.  Supervise equipment preparation for impending drilling operations.  Ensure that the Driller and Drilling Supervisor are provided each tour with the Standing Instructions to Driller (SID) that are relevant to the planned operations.  Audit the work performed by the drilling contractor and third party service contractors to ensure it is performed according to the terms of contracts and agreements.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  At least 8 years of experience in offshore drilling operations.  Previous Toolpusher experience, preferably on a similar Jack Up environment.  Must be eligible to work in the Persian Gulf. Valid Offshore Survival Course and Offshore Health/Medical Certificate.  Valid IWCF approved certificate.  Good level of verbal and written communication in English.  Industry related Bachelor's Degree preferred. 

Toolpusher

Persian Gulf

Start Date 13 Feb 2014  

 

This position requires someone to work on both new cyber jack up rigs and traditional jack ups on a 28 day rotational basis. Full health insurance and two travel days per trip will also be offered to successful applicants.

LBL Surveyor

Persian Gulf

During a 2 week rotation, you will be required to use the Long Baseline (LBL) positioning system to carry out geophysical surveys using a Side Scan Sonar and Sub-Bottom Profiler. An increased day rate and long-term contracts will be available to the ideal candidates. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for successfully carrying out survey tasks related to positioning and navigation during the mobilization of the project.  To facilitate the installation, calibration and responsible use of survey, navigation and peripheral devices.  Responsible for the control of results, and the analysis and interpretation of data obtained through LBL transponders and other related software and hardware for Metrology operations.  Ensure that regular recording of good quality survey data is maintained and added as and when required to the log book.  To be able to work individually or as part of a multi disciplinary team.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous Surveyor experience using LBL equipment (SSS & SBP) offshore is essential.  Industry-related bachelor's degree or recognized qualification is desired.  Must be eligible to work offshore in the Persian Gulf.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical. 

Driller

Our client based in the Middle East is looking for a Driller to work offshore on a Cyber base Jackup rig. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Cyber Drilling offshore will be offered a permanent contract as well as a negotiable salary. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Ensure operations are carried out efficiently on the drill floor and supervise these, whilst they're taking place. They also need to be in compliance with authorised Operating Procedures and Company Safety Policy.  Filling in the daily drilling reports and keep records for the drilling line.  Report to the Lead Driller or Senior Toolpusher and undertake any requested actions from him/her while adhering to the company's policies and standards as well as authorised Operating Procedures and Company Safety Policy.  All handling and operating of tools must be carried out in an efficient manner whilst also accounting for contingency plans.  Ensure that the drilling crew perform all tasks safely and efficiently while monitoring and evaluating direct subordinates and assistants.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  At least 2 years of experience as a Cyber Driller.  Must be eligible to work offshore in the Persian Gulf.  Valid Offshore Survival Course and Offshore Health/Medical Certificate.  Valid IWCF approved certificate.  Good level of verbal and written communication in English.  Industry related Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Driller

Working 28 day rotations, you will be based on a mixture of new cyber jack up platforms and traditional jack up rigs. Full health insurance and paid travelling days will be offered to applicants with the desired amount of experience. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Safely handle and operate all drilling related tools and equipment.  Filling in the daily drilling reports and keep records for the drilling line.  Secure the well during an emergency or well control situation - assist in the well killing operations.  To verify and confirm eruption prevention systems and other security measures  Report to the Lead Driller and undertake any requested actions from him/her while adhering to the company's policies and standards.  Ensure that the drilling crew perform all tasks safely and efficiently while monitoring and evaluating direct subordinates and assistants.  Inform Senior Toolpsuher, Toolpusher and Client Representative if a deviation from any planned operation occurs.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous experience as a Driller based in an offshore environment  Must be eligible to work in the Persian Gulf.  Valid Offshore Survival Course and Offshore Health/Medical Certificate.  Valid IWCF approved Well Control certificate.  Good level of verbal and written communication in English.  Industry related Bachelor's Degree preferred.
