Barge Superintendent

Our client based in UAE is looking for an experienced Barge Superintendent to work on board a Jack-up Barge. We require someone with experience in pipeline placement and heavy lifting as well as the necessary certificates. Our client is offering regular rotations to the right candidate as well as a competitive salary. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Review anchor patterns and ensure that the barge is set up as per approved patterns.  Responsible for the safety and efficiency of all offshore construction work carried out by the barge as well as all related construction personnel.  Responsible for the training, monitoring and improving for all deck personnel to ensure all work is carried out to the appropriate standard while maintaining high safety levels.  Identify hazards, assess and record risks in a Risk Management Register, and find ways to mitigate such risks.  Responsible for monitoring and advising on the maintenance of the barge by planning maintenance schedules, training technicians and maintenance supervisors and ensuring overall smooth procedures.  To revise and regulate budget expenses, repair and equipment costs, and more to ensure the project is carried out within the established budget.  Responsible for monitoring and confirming validity of compliance and regulatory documents.  Responsible for the safe docking of the ship.  Ensure that all personnel on the barge and at base are well informed about the progress.  Compliance in accordance with section/Company policies & procedures, Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct & HSE standards   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous Barge Superintendent experience is essential.  At least 14 years of experience working in offshore barge/pipe operations.  Knowledgeable and experienced with operations on floating and jack-up barges, common derrick crane system, anchor winches system, engine room equipment, ballast & bulge system, general lifting arrangement.  All mandatory safety training.  Knowledge and understanding of all standard offshore safety training requirements.  Valid Offshore Survival Course and Offshore Health/Medical Certificate.

Barge Foreman

United Arab Emirates

Our client based in the UAE is looking for an experienced Barge Foreman to work on a three month placement. We require someone with experience in pipeline placement and heavy lifting as well as the necessary certificates. Our client is offering regular rotations to the right candidate as well as a competitive salary. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Reporting to the Barge Superintendent, for all matters of the work and progress of the job.  Supervise all personnel and maintenance.  Ensure that all safety procedures are met and carried out.  Work closely with subcontractors, offer support and monitor their work.  Review and report cases of incidents, accidents and near misses, for further investigation or action. Make sure that the clients requirements are met by reviewing the work of the foremen.  Compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous Barge Foreman experience is essential.  Good experience working in offshore barge/pipe operations.  All mandatory safety training.  Valid Offshore Survival Course and Offshore Health/Medical Certificate.  Must be eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates.  Good level of written and verbal communication in English.  

3.4u Inspection Engineer

United Arab Emirates

We are looking to recruit a 3.4u Inspection Engineer to work in Dubai on 3 week rotations for either a long-term or short-term contract, depending on arrangements and availability. An increased day rate will be offered to the candidate with the right amount of experience. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Analysis of gathered data and definition of technical queries as needed.  Prepare subsea inspection data in a suitable format to input into the database software regarding the inspection of structures and pipelines.  Prepare inspection procedures, work drawings and data sheets as required by program owners.  Ensure the accuracy, quality and validity of online inspection data recording, eventing, processing and reporting e.g. real-time video, offline video review and data editing.  Liaise with responsible Superintendents and Client Representatives to ensure all work is carried out according to the client's standards and policies.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  3.4u CSWIP qualification & experience required. ROV Pilot - Panther

ROV Pilots that are able to work in Abu Dhabi on a 6 to 8 week rotation will be offered long- term rotations and an increased day rate. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for piloting the ROV, implementation and monitoring of technical procedures and reporting, work management and execution of ROV Operations.  To carry out inspections and check the ROV system prior to any dive and to log any unscheduled events or technical faults according to pre-established procedures.  Assist in the Launch and Recovery of the ROV.  To work as both as part of a multi-disciplinary team and on an independent basis.

Data Processor

A well-known and established client is looking for an offshore Data Processor with previous experience using VisualSoft software to work on a project in Dubai for the duration of a 6 week rotation. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for the delivery of survey data, reports and charts to Clients in a timely manner and to an acceptable standard.  To understand reporting requirements at project award and to ensure suitable templates are used correctly.  Prepare, run and manage production work flows on the company computer system and to resolve any issues that may arise during the project.  Assist in monitoring and supervising other staff and reporting any requirements or unscheduled events to the Senior Data Processor.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous experience working as a Data Processor in an offshore environment.  Experience using VisualSoft software is essential.  Must be eligible to work offshore in Dubai.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical. 

DPO

United Arab Emirates

We are looking to fill a DPO position experience to work on Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) and Platform Supply Vessels (PSV) in the UAE for one of our clients, lasting 3 months. This position is a great opportunity for the candidate to get their DP hours up, and there is also potential for an ongoing position. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for the safe navigation of the vessel while maintaining the crew's safety, preparation and awareness as top priorities.  To ensure all navigation that is planned or developed is carried out on a lawful manner, compliant with both international and national laws.  Responsible for supervising all Dynamic Position operations during the rotation as well as monitoring all related calls and event logging.  Responsible for the vessel and all involved crew, ensuring HSE and company policies are set in place and followed as required by mandatory regulations.  To ensure the project is carried out to the best possible standard and in a timely manner, ensuring all operations are on offer for the Offshore Manager to request and review.

Shift Supervisor

Middle East

Due to the high demand of our clients, we are currently looking to recruit several Shift Supervisors in various areas of the Middle East, from rotations lasting anywhere between 2 weeks to 60 days. The ideal candidates will be eligible for regular rotations, an increased day rate and even permanent contracts. 

 

To be part of a core team of supervisors and to maintain a flow of reports and documents designed to elaborate, implement and monitor department related procedures.  Responsible for the coordination if the involved department (ROV, Survey, Crane, Drilling) during the assigned shift/rotation, ensuring all operations are carried out according to HSE standards and the clients policies. Responsible for promoting good communication and team effort within the assigned department and to offer training and advice as and when necessary. To elaborate risk assessments, safety checks, equipment maintenance shifts and other processes that ensure the safety of all personnel.  To liaise with Client Representatives and ensure that work is carried out to the desired standard at all times.   


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous experience working as a Shift Supervisor on board a vessel or offshore platform. Data Processor

Several openings are available to work offshore in Saudi Arabia for an established international client on 6 to 8 week rotations while carrying out Geophysical surveys. The ideal candidate must have CARIS HIPS & SIPS knowledge, which will enable them to benefit from an increased day rate and a long term contract.

Saturation Diving Supervisor

Qatar

We require a Diving Supervisor that is familiar with Saturation work environments and safety procedures to work on a 60 day rotation offshore in Qatar. This role involves a Clamp and J-Tube Installation and a higher day rate will be offered to the candidate with the desired amount of experience. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for the use, maintenance and safety procedures that are established around all diving and saturation related equipment, implementing new procedures and reports as and when necessary.  To apply new saturation diving techniques where possible and to commission effective equipment that will assist in the development of the project as required by the Project Manager and the Client.  To personally evaluate and train all diving personnel and to ensure they are compliant with HSE policies and any other required standards of work.  To maintain and supervise diving equipment and to schedule regular maintenance and inspection rotations to keep equipment functioning and safe for subordinate personnel to use.

Party Chief

Qatar

Required for a jacket and pipeline installation project, this position will require you to monitor and manage all survey data related to this section of the project, initially working on a 2 week rotational basis. This position offers the opportunity to gain regular rotations as well as an increased day rate. 

 

KEY DUTIES  To work alongside the Project Manager and ensure that all administrative and logistic matters are dealt with accordingly and to the clients desired standards.  To ensure that the project proceeds and that all survey tasks and responsibilities are assigned as required, undertaking any required involvement as and when necessary.  To assist the survey team with any troubleshooting, training or technical issues that may arise and to ensure all staff are correctly supervised.  Responsible for conducting quality control assessments over obtained data and ensure it is recorded properly.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Proven experience as a Party Chief working in an offshore environment.  Previous experience working on Dive and ROV Operations.  Industry-related bachelor's degree or recognized qualification is desired.  Must be eligible to work in Qatar.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical. 

Saturation Divising Supervisor

Egypt

We require a Diving Supervisor that is familiar with Saturation work environments and safety procedures to work on a 42 day rotation offshore in Egypt. The length of the project will be approximately 9 months.

ROV Supervisor - Panther

We are currently seeking an ROV Supervisor to work in Kuwait, on a temporary contract for one of our world-wide clients. It would be a 6-8 week placement and an increased day rate will be offered to the most suitable candidate 

 

KEY DUTIES  Ensure Pilots/Technicians carry out all tasks in accordance with the client's standards and policies.  To be mindful of safety including organising and managing the safety of the ROV team, accident reporting, effective use of safety management systems, and to undertake regular safety meetings and Risk Assessments.  To carry out inspections and check the ROV system prior to any dive and to log any unscheduled events or technical faults according to pre-established procedures.  To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to supervise all subordinate staff whilst evaluating and offering appropriate advice and training.

Rig Manager

We are currently looking to recruit a Rig Manager with at least 10 years of experience offshore experience and 5 years as a Rig Manager, for a permanent, office based position in the UAE, with 30 days labour per annum. The candidate must be able to work on flexible rotations in exchange for a competitive salary with a pre-arranged overtime bonus package and housing allowance. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for the safe and efficient overall running of the offshore rig, ensuring all HSE and relevant plans are in place and adhered by all of the crews and teams on board.  To revise and implement new safety regulations, procedures and inspections as and when necessary, replacing outdated procedures with new and more efficient ones when required.  Responsible for coordinating all on-board crews, both while onshore and offshore, to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are understood and carried out to the desired standard by each operation department.  To take part in HR procedures for the purpose of fully staffing the designated rig, ensuring all personnel are qualified and suitable for each role while revising cost-efficiency and work output.  Responsible for revising and implementing governmental and environmental laws as required, processing all necessary documents and paperwork and delivering them in a timely and organized manner.  To take responsibility for all procedures in the face of the end client and to maintain a good understanding of all on-going procedures and crew responsibilities. Also responsible for partaking in any operations at any level if required.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  At least 10 years of senior level offshore experience.  A previous background as a Rig Manager or Toolpusher, endorsements and appraisals are desirable.  All mandatory training and certification for this position, as well as a valid Offshore Medical and Survival certificate.  Must be eligible to work in the UAE. 

Directional Driller

United Arab Emirates

We are actively recruiting a drilling professional for a permanent position to work on an island project, offshore on a land rig in the UAE. Rotations are 6 weeks on and 3 weeks off. Candidates should have at least 8 years of drilling experience with a minimum of 2 years in ERD drilling.  

 

KEY DUTIES  Monitor the drilling process to ensure all drilling is carried out in the right direction and that the objectives and targets set by the client are met.  To keep track of all directional tools and survey equipment on location as well as the time spent on location and in use.  Report and monitor rig and well procedures, ensuring reports are carried out on time and then delivered to the corresponding responsible individual.  Supervise subordinate drilling personnel and ensure advice and training are offered in any required fields.  Report to the Drilling Supervisor about any changes or issues that you encounter, offering the best standard of information possible.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  At least 8 years of previous drilling experience, preferably offshore.  At least 2 years of ERD drilling experience.  Must be eligible to work in the UAE.  Valid IWCF approve certificate.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical.  Good verbal and written communication in English. 

Construction Manager

United Arab Emirates

Our client based in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a seasoned Construction Manager with experience working on installation projects for an office based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direction and coordination of site resources as well as the control and monitoring of project costs. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for the management and supervision of all construction related activities and tasks carried out by on board personnel as well as for the training and mentoring of these.  Responsible for reviewing new and existing contract and for planning resource, equipment and other packages as and when necessary.  To review all engineering documentation and compliance procedures to ensure legal requirements are met and documentation is recorded sensibly.  To review all project specific procedures with the purpose of maximizing progress in a productive and cost effective manner.  Responsible for reporting all progress and to deliver a progress plan to the end client with accurate time scales and innovative ideas as and when necessary.  To monitor resource usage, personnel performance, project schedule and maintenance checks, reporting any changes and adjusting tasks and processes during any alterations or unscheduled events.

Assistant Driller

Middle East

Six to eight week rotations, increased day rates and the stability that comes with working for a well-known and established client, who is looking for someone with previous jackup experience and knowledge of offshore drilling operations. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Safely handle and operate all drilling related tools and equipment.  Report to the Driller and Lead Driller and undertake any requested actions that are to be completed in accordance with the companies HSE policies.  Ensure that the drilling crew perform all tasks safely and efficiently.  Filling in the daily drilling reports and keep records for the drilling line.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Minimum of 2 years experience in drilling operations offshore along with the necessary background training. Valid Offshore Survival Course and Offshore Health/Medical Certificate.  Valid IWCF approved Well Control certificate.  Good level of verbal and written communication in English.  Industry related Bachelor's Degree preferred.
