Surveyor

Gulf of Mexico

This role requires extensive knowledge of EIVA software and its related utilities while working on board an offshore platform during a 4 week rotation. An increased day rate as well as regular rotations will be offered to the candidate with the desired amount of experience. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for successfully carrying out survey tasks related to positioning and navigation during the mobilization of the project.  To facilitate the installation, calibration and responsible use of survey, navigation and peripheral devices.  Responsible for the control of results, and the analysis and interpretation of all sensor data such as IMU, GPS, DVL, pressure depth and LBL.  Ensure that regular recording of good quality survey data is maintained and added as and when required to the log book.  To be able to work individually or as part of a multi disciplinary team.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous Survey & Inspection experience working in an offshore environment.  Must have previous experience using EIVA software.  Industry-related bachelor's degree or recognized qualification is desired.  Must be eligible to work in the United States.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical.  

ROV Pilot - Falcon

Gulf of Mexico

ROV Pilots that are able to work in the Gulf of Mexico on a 40 day rotation using the Seaeye Falcon ROV System will be offered long-term rotations and an increased day rate. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for piloting the ROV, implementation and monitoring of technical procedures and reporting, work management and execution of ROV Operations.  To carry out inspections and check the ROV system prior to any dive and to log any unscheduled events or technical faults according to pre-established procedures.  Assist in the Launch and Recovery of the ROV.  To work as both as part of a multi-disciplinary team and on an independent basis.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous experience using the Seaeye Falcon ROV System.  Must be eligible to work in the Gulf of Mexico.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical certificate that allows you to work in the Gulf of Mexico. 

LBL Surveyor

Gulf of Mexico

During a 4 week rotation, you will be required to use Long Baseline (LBL) positioning systems on board a platform to acquire the necessary positioning data that has been requested for this project. An increased day rate and long-term contracts will be available to the ideal candidates. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for successfully carrying out survey tasks related to positioning and navigation during the mobilization of the project.  To facilitate the installation, calibration and responsible use of survey, navigation and peripheral devices.  Responsible for the control of results, and the analysis and interpretation of data obtained through LBL transponders and other related software and hardware for Metrology operations.  Ensure that regular recording of good quality survey data is maintained and added as and when required to the log book.  To be able to work individually or as part of a multi disciplinary team.   


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous Surveyor experience using LBL equipment and software offshore is essential.  Industry-related bachelor's degree or recognized qualification is desired.  Must be eligible to work in the Gulf of Mexico.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical. 

Crane Operator

Gulf of Mexico

This position requires a candidate that is able to work in the Gulf of Mexico on a 4 week rotation. The successful candidate will be offered further rotations after successfully completing the first one which in turn can lead to an increased day rate. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Operate crane under general supervision and to be responsible for the regular maintenance of all crane-related equipment.  Manipulate or depress cane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions and pre-job arrangements.  Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy, and to elaborate daily or weekly reports on work progress.  Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Must have a Stage 3 Certificate or equivalent (Class A or G5), and have worked in an offshore environment.  Having an AB Ticket is desirable.  Must be eligible to work offshore in the United States.  Must have a valid Offshore Survival Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical Certificate to work in the Gulf of Mexico. 

Data Processor

Gulf of Mexico

Survey Engineer

Based offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, you will be responsible for on-site survey equipment as well as its maintenance. Our client is looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role and they are offering regular 4 week rotations and a competitive salary.

Survey Engineer

Venezuela

Based offshore in Venezuela for the duration of a 2 week rotation, our client also requires a candidate with heavy equipment experience over software experience and there are multiple vacancies opening at the same time. Successful candidates will benefit from an increased day rate and regular rotations.

Shift Supervisor

Brazil

Flexibility and the ability to manage a variety of subsea operations are absolutely necessary. You will be required to work 4 to 6 week rotations offshore while also attending an office based onshore to complete logs and reports. 

 

KEY DUTIES  To be part of a core team of supervisors and to maintain a flow of reports and documents designed to elaborate, implement and monitor department related procedures.  Responsible for the coordination if the involved department (ROV, Survey, Crane, Drilling) during the assigned shift/rotation, ensuring all operations are carried out according to HSE standards and the clients policies.  Responsible for promoting good communication and team effort within the assigned department and to offer training and advice as and when necessary.  To elaborate risk assessments, safety checks, equipment maintenance shifts and other processes that ensure the safety of all personnel.  To liaise with Client Representatives and ensure that work is carried out to the desired standard at all times.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous experience working as a Shift Supervisor on board a vessel or offshore platform.  Valid safety training certificates approved by a recognized institution are essential.  Must be eligible to work in Brazil.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical certificate that allows you to work in Brazil.  Good verbal and written communication in English.

Survey Engineer

Gulf of Mexico

Using our clients Winfrog survey software and all attached equipment, you will be required to maintain, deploy and recover all related survey equipment as well as to assist with data checks and processing. This position requires someone to work on 4 week rotations in exchange for a competitive salary.

ROV Supervisor - XLX

Gulf of Mexico

ROV Supervisors that are able to work in the Gulf of Mexico on a 2 week Hitch will benefit from an increased day rate and regular rotations. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Ensure Pilots/Technicians carry out all tasks in accordance with the client's standards and policies.  To be mindful of safety including organising and managing the safety of the ROV team, accident reporting, effective use of safety management systems, and to undertake regular safety meetings and Risk Assessments.  To carry out inspections and check the ROV system prior to any dive and to log any unscheduled events or technical faults according to pre-established procedures.  To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to supervise all subordinate staff whilst evaluating and offering appropriate advice and training.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous experience working with the Triton XLX ROV System.  Previous ROV Supervisor experience, preferably Work Class experience  Must be eligible to work in the Gulf of Mexico  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival), Safe Gult training Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical certificate that allows you to work in the GOM. 

Online Surveyor

Gulf of Mexico

An on-going project requires an Online Surveyor to wok on a 4 week rotation using Eiva software to acquire and process inspection data on board an offshore platform. This position offers a long-term contract and increased day rates as well as the possibility to progress in this area. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for learning and understanding project procedures and work instructions handed out by the company.  To assist with the background installation, calibration and maintenance of survey navigation and peripheral devices.  To monitor, obtain and record all geodetic, sweater, EIVA Navipac/Naviedit, DGPS and other data necessary for the correct operation of the project.  To record and maintain data logs and weekly reports which will be elaborated according to company standards and elaborated in a timely and well-presented manner.  To liaise with Project Managers and Client Representatives to offer daily, weekly and unspecific reports, reporting all progress with data acquisition and any means to improve performance.  Responsible for subordinate personnel and their following of QHSE guidelines and policies which are reviewed at the start of the tour.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  Previous experience as an Online Surveyor in an offshore platform or vessel.  Experience using Eiva software.  Must be eligible to work in Gulf of Mexico (US visa required or US national).  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical.  Good verbal and written communication in English. 

Directional Driller

Gulf of Mexico

This position requires previous deep-water Directional Drilling experience and the necessary certificates and visa to work offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Our client is offering a permanent contract with a competitive salary and flexible rotations. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Monitor the drilling process to ensure all drilling is carried out in the right direction and that the objectives and targets set by the client are met.  To keep track of all directional tools and survey equipment on location as well as the time spent on location and in use.  Report and monitor rig and well procedures, ensuring reports are carried out on time and then delivered to the corresponding responsible individual.  Supervise subordinate drilling personnel and ensure advice and training are offered in any required fields.  Report to the Drilling Supervisor about any changes or issues that you encounter, offering the best standard of information possible.

3.4u Inspection Engineer

Gulf of Mexico

We are looking to recruit a 3.4u Inspection Engineer to work in the Gulf of Mexico on 4 week rotations for either a long-term or short-term contract, depending on arrangements and availability. An increased day rate will be offered to the candidate with the right amount of experience. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Analysis of gathered data and definition of technical queries as needed.  Prepare subsea inspection data in a suitable format to input into the database software regarding the inspection of structures and pipelines.  Prepare inspection procedures, work drawings and data sheets as required by program owners.  Ensure the accuracy, quality and validity of online inspection data recording, eventing, processing and reporting e.g. real-time video, offline video review and data editing.  Liaise with responsible Superintendents and Client Representatives to ensure all work is carried out according to the client's standards and policies.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  3.4u CSWIP qualification & experience required.  Previous Platform Inspection experience in similar positions.  Must be eligible to work in the Gulf of Mexico.  Must have a valid BOSIET (Offshore Survival) Certificate and a valid Offshore Health/Medical.  Good level of verbal and written communication in English. 

Directional Driller

Canada

We are actively recruiting for drilling personnel to work onshore on a well-to-well project in Canada. This is a consultancy position that requires a candidate with previous onshore Directional Drilling experience, for which a negotiable day rate is on offer as well as a long term contract.

Survey Tech

Brazil

Our client based in Brazil is looking for an experienced Survey Technician with previous experience using QINSy software while working on offshore survey & inspection operations. A negotiable salary and regular 4 week rotations are available to the candidate that meets the following requirements. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for the use and maintenance of surveying instruments and equipment used on site, ensuring records are kept on maintenance shifts and deployment time.  To compile necessary data to carry out construction and engineering required for the project, ensuring records are kept and reports are handed out to involved personnel.  To install new survey related equipment and instruments and to elaborate maintenance and instruction logs to allow involved personnel to work responsible  To work closely with the Party Chief, Chief Engineer and all related supervisors to ensure work is carried out to the correct standard and on time.  To assist with all technical events and necessary training which will keep the designated survey teams performance to the desired level of involvement.

Senior Toolpusher

Brazil

Mobilizing from Rio de Janerio, this position will require you to work 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off. Our client is offering a permanent contract and a competitive salary as well as the opportunity for career advancement. 

 

KEY DUTIES  Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the drilling rig, and ensuring full compliance with all mandatory company, client, state, and federal rules and regulations.  Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements; assist in supervising well killing operations in an emergency situation. Attend pre-spud meetings and take note of all well-related hazards and ensure that they are managed appropriately.  Initiate changes to the pre-agreed program when and as required, to protect personnel, environment, equipment and the well.  Lead the well control team at the drilling rig in conjunction with the drilling contractor's senior personnel, including the acting Drilling Supervisor.  Responsible for the completion of all preventative maintenance activities and projects that must be completed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.  Supervise equipment preparation for impending drilling operations.  Ensure that the Driller and Drilling Supervisor are provided each tour with the Standing Instructions to Driller (SID) that are relevant to the planned operations.  Audit the work performed by the drilling contractor and third party service contractors to ensure it is performed according to the terms of contracts and agreements.   


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS  At least 7 years of experience in offshore drilling operations.  Previous Toolpusher experience, preferably on a similar jackup environment.  Must be eligible to work in Brazil.  Valid Offshore Survival Course and Offshore Health/Medical Certificate.  Valid IWCF approved certificate.  Good level of verbal and written communication in English.  Industry related Bachelor's Degree preferred.
